Ground floor refurbishment.

We contacted 1Stop to carry out a complete ground floor refurbishment on our newly purchased house. He dealt with building control and the Structural Engineers as and when needed. Yes there was dust and dirt but was kept to a minimum as much as possible at all times. We are very happy with the work done and would highly recommend 1Stop.

1 Stop Building did a fantastic job with our boundary wall. They meticulously looked at our needs, even involved a structural engineer .The team is very professional and always ready to listen to us and make changes to suit our needs . They kept us posted with the reasons when the team could not make it. My experience with many other companies was that you need to chase them all the time to get job done which can be tedious affair . This was completely different experience . I would recommend them Anytime

Its great to have a trusted team of professionals available for both planned projects and to deal with emergencies. Hands-on DIY is not my specialist subject but I do favour those who are competent, reliable and take an obvious pride in their work. That is exactly what you get with 1 Stop!

What a company! 1 Stop Building was profession from start to finish. I had a roof and back extension on my home and I had no issues or problems. All work was carried out to perfection in a timely manner. Their pricing was spot on and was transparent throughout. They made my dream come true. Such a friendly and amazing team. Emergency plumbing

Emergency plumbing carried out by One Stop Building Services today. The hot water pipe under my bath suddenly burst spraying hot water everywhere. Called these guys and they arrived within minutes ( fortunately they were only working a few streets away) they immediately turned off the water in the street as I had no access to the inside stop cock. Replaced the burst pipe and checked everything was fine. Totally saved my entire downstairs being flooded

Full room renovation incl stairs and landing and repairs to porch

From start to finish the team have been very professional. We had very good communication and they under stood the vision that we wanted for the renovation. They were very prompt each day and explained the following days plan so we knew what was going on. The workmanship was to a very high standard from plastering and paint advising solutions when plans couldn’t be fulfilled.

Garage conversion

I was so glad we chose the team from 1 Stop Building. From start to finish they were brilliant. As well as carrying out the bulk of the work himself with a small team of reliable co-workers, he liaised with all the other relevant trades – plumber, electrician windows install and this ensured the project went smoothly from start to finish. So much so that I gave the team a little extra on completion just to demonstrate how pleased I was with the work and his attention to detail. We will be using 1 Stop Building for our upcoming bathroom refurb. Cannot rate them highly enough. +++++

Emergency Repairs

1 Stop Builders were recommended to us for some emergency repair work after our Kitchen ceiling came down due to a water leak from the shower. I cannot praise their service highly enough. They turned up on time, liaised with insurers on our behalf, phoned when they said they would and kept us informed at all times. Jason and Paul were experienced and more than knowledgeable about their subject. They were diligent, proficient, tidy workmen who charged exactly what was quoted – no hidden extra’s and they went more than the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction! Will definitely be using them again.

Garden house

We would just like to say how pleased we have been with the work undertaken by One Stop. Our project was to construct a garden house incorporating an office. The slate pitched roof was suggested by them as a feature to enhance the building and we have been delighted with the design, construction and indeed the entire finish which has exceeded our expectations. Our building, being clearly visible from the rear of our house meant that we wanted it to enhance the garden space whilst ensuring that it would also be functional. The use of the cedar cladding and the inclusion of the oak porch has made it look so welcoming. The slate roof is actually not slate at all but a revolutionary imitation product that is a fraction of the weight or indeed the cost of using real slate – even up close you can not tell the difference!

We found One Stop to be professional, skilled and imaginative. We can not stress how delighted we are with the finished project which was delivered within our budget and on time. We certainly intend to use them again for our proposed loft conversion next year.

Water Damage Works

In october we suffered a massive burst from a mains water pipe, we contacted 1 stop building services after recommendations.

Jason Halzelton and Paul Venables even at the start of our huge ordeal went over and above board and came to our premises out of hours to estimate for the works.

Jason and Paul really assisted and proceeded with the renovations works immediaitely to ensure our family could be back in our property just in time for Christmas.

During the whole ordeal and even with tight time constraints Jason and Paul carried out their expert workmanship to perfection.

We would throughly recommend 1st stop to any persons wishing to undertake any general building works , its really difficult these days to source a builder of genuine skills and workmanship.

We are all completely satisfied with our new home and 1st stop made a very stressful experience easier.
